Will O' The Wisp

I saw you again at the end of the lane, You were there shining amid the flare. I got enchanted again as I stare. I saw you this time in the middle of the fields, You were walking through the damp meadow in daze. I caught hold of myself before falling into a maze. The shore seemed illuminating, the waves were lapping, The sea apparently danced as cold water kissed your feet. I swayed in my heart along with the breeze blowing it's own beats. Friends call you an illusion tampering my brain, I smile at them and walk ahead with you in my thoughts. How can I frame enough words to explain that you are one keeping me sane. You may be there, you may not be there, this is my life to be lived, to be fought.

A Hundred Years

A hundred years, I lived in a trance. I waited for a moment and I looked for a chance. A hundred years, I battled in fields. I hopprd on glimmers each time they appealed. A hundred years, seasons rolled on in circles, Springs and falls have never altered on their own wills. Time moved faster than before, What remained is the record of dreams yet to explore. People came and people were gone, Few stayed in memories while many were passing dawn. A hundred years of the life that I outlived, Only love lasted longer, it brawled and it thrived. That woman along with her husband and mother-in-law was living a poverty sticken life where having a full course meal was a far fetched dream.Their only source of income was fishing. With the same wearisome monotony everyday, the family was somehow holding out thier already worn out lives.  One day, they heard the news that a new fish factory is going to be developed near their area and the fishermen of the village will get employed there. A new glimmer of hope was what swamped the poor couple.Their happiness was tenfolded when they got to know that they are going to be parents soon. Mother in law distributed sweets in the entire neighbourhood. Soon, the foundation of the factory was laid and the otherwise dull surrounding of the village became brightened. Months passed, and the couple gave birth to an angelic boy. Considering the baby to be a lucky charm for the village, they named him Felix, meaning foru...

Things That Matter

There are things that I want to see, when I am told to not to look. There are things that I want to do, when I am bound to be in limits. There are things that I want to aquire, when they are absolutely out of my reach. Is this my greed or a craving I womder, and I am still wondering on my quest.
